Our Ministries — Talemwa Schools

Nursery to high school, for children who had no one to pay fees.

Talemwa schools are education institutions set up to enable our orphaned children to attain a decent education, to teach them different life skills and, above all, the values of the Kingdom of God.

The three schools

One path, from three years old to school-leaving.

Talemwa has three institutions, all with dedicated and well-qualified teachers.

01

Talemwa Nursery

The first classroom, for the youngest children in the home — where school stops being a word and becomes a place.

02

Talemwa Primary

Primary education right through to the leaving examination, with dedicated and well-qualified teachers.

03

Talemwa High School

Secondary schooling and the qualifications that open the door to work and to further study.

Why schools of our own

An orphaned child cannot be sent home for fees.

Talemwa exists so that the children of Osanidde never sit out a term. The schools were set up to enable our orphaned children to attain a decent education — and they teach different life skills, and above all the values of the Kingdom of God, alongside the syllabus.

  • Dedicated and well-qualified teachers
  • Life skills taught next to academics
  • Kingdom values at the centre of school life
The teachers

Dedicated, and well qualified.

A school for orphaned children only works if the people in front of the class are as good as any in the country. Talemwa staffs all three institutions with qualified teachers who choose to be here.
